is a wind-energy engineer with The Timken Company. Over the last 17 years with Timken, Lucas has worked in application engineering and management functions serving the wind-energy industry. He is responsible for application and new product development that leads to delivering innovative, high-value technology solutions to Timken customers in the global wind-energy markets. He has been involved with many development projects and products for the wind market to drive increased reliability and lower cost of energy. Lucas holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from The University of Akron as well as a professional engineering license in the state of Ohio.
