Joseph Rakow

is a Principal Engineer and the Director of Exponent’s Mechanical Engineering Practice. Rakow has consulted for wind industry clients around the world, including wind turbine manufacturers and suppliers, owners and operators, insurers, and maintenance and repair service providers. His engagements typically involve failure analysis, condition assessments, and repair consulting, often involving fleets of turbines across multiple sites. Rakow has a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering.
