Precision torque and crimp testing solutions
Improperly tightened fasteners and loose connectors are leading causes of equipment failure.

Imada, Inc. provides professional-grade digital torque screwdrivers, wrenches, calibrators and wire crimp testers designed to ensure faultless operation.

Digital Torque Testing
Our instruments operate in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions and feature selectable units (lbf, kgf, and N). Offerings include:

  • Digital Torque Calibrators: Our digital torque calibrators are easy-to-use and ensure consistency across your entire tool inventory. By verifying the accuracy of impact drivers, torque-controlled drivers, and manual click-type wrenches, these units prevent costly under-torqueing or over-torqueing errors.
  • Digital Torque Wrenches with GO/NG audible and visual indicators: Our unique drive-centered torque sensor delivers consistent readings no matter where the wrench is gripped and load applied. Unlike standard wrenches, you can extend the handle to any length for increased leverage without compromising the reading.

Wire Crimp Testing
Loose crimped-on terminals lead to intermittent failures. Imada, Inc. offers both automatic and manual testers to verify terminal pull-off force (lbf, kgf, and N). All testers include a 12-slot multi-terminal grip that accommodates wire diameters from 1–8mm (AWG 30–8).

  • ACT-220 Automatic Tester: Performs destructive or non-destructive tests up to 220 lbf, features an EL display, 26 programmable test profiles, and internal memory for up to 1,500 results.
  • Manual Pull Testers: The NPT (standard) and NPL (lightweight) series utilize an ergonomic, single-stroke pull-down motion, available in 110 lbf and 220 lbf capacities.Take a look at the ACT-220 in this video.

Data Management
Our instruments capture peak torque or peak force data and output to PCs via RS-232 or wirelessly. Optional data acquisition software is available.

Quality Assurance & Standards
Imada, Inc. maintains an ISO 9001 quality assurance program and ISO/IEC 17025 Testing and Calibration Laboratory Accreditation. All equipment includes a calibration certificate traceable to NIST.

The Imada Advantage: Our Four-Point Service Plan
