Dust Collection Systems
Dust Collection Products has been making point of origin dust collectors for hand tools since 1990. We come from a boatbuilding background so our primary focus iss the collection of fiberglass dust. We have since then expanded into silica dust and all the toxic dust abatement fields.
The Dust Muzzle
Our most popular product is the Dust Muzzle™. It can be used for both grinding and cutting and is available for all pneumatic and electric die grinders and right angle grinders with disk diameters from 2” to 8”. They are excellent for use with soft pad sanders, fiber disks and roll-lock disks.
The addition of a snap on cover plate converts any Dust Muzzle into an efficient dust collector for cutting with a diamond or carbide saw blades.

Factory Repairs: This relationship also enables MFG Energy Services to offer factory repairs for components that cannot be repaired in the field due to the nature of the damage or weather conditions. We can remove your damaged blade, transport it to our nearest available factory, and deliver/install your repaired blade any time of the year.
Spares for Older Model Turbines: The relationship with MFG also gives MFG Energy Services the ability to supply spare and replacement components for early model equipment that is no longer stocked by the OEM. Tooling can be easily made from a customer’s existing part without damaging it.

M4 Wind Services, Inc.
M4 Wind Services, based Long Beach, CA is a complete maintenance, inspection and repair services company where “Engineering Meets the Field.” M4 started as a high technology engineering company in 2001, focused primarily on extremely challenging problems in the aerospace and defense industries. Many of M4’s most challenging projects were in the composite materials and structures area, so we quickly built a strong team of analysts, designers, and technicians that could quickly design, optimize, build, and repair composite structures. Our transition into the wind industry began in 2003, when our team started a production line for 30+ meter blades in California. Since then, we have designed and built blades as large as 70m for turbines in use worldwide. We have recently developed proprietary designs and patents for revolutionary wind turbine blades and are currently entering low rate production. Building on our in-factory expertise, M4 expanded into field inspection and repair of wind turbines; clocking over 200,000 hours over the last two years. Our quality control inspectors, field engineers and technicians have performed some of the most challenging repairs in the industry, and the fact that they access to our home office staff of excellent engineers gives our service teams significant advantages in diagnosing and correcting problems from the simplest to the most complex.
Since its inception, M4 Wind Services has expanded its portfolio of support activities to include complete tower maintenance and repairs, QC services for the complete life cycle of a WTG from component supplier audits through decommissioning, due diligence pre-warranty expiration inspections of the entire WTG, focused major component inspections of gearboxes and blades, complete blade servicing from washing to up-tower remediation and independent 3rd party fault analyses with root cause determinations and corrective action recommendations. Expanding support now includes active load and threat monitoring equipment (Rotor Redline) to extend the life of WTG’s and reduce maintenance costs as well as strategic partnerships to provide low-cost gearbox repair and overhaul services and long-term warranty repair services to stabilize maintenance costs for the WTG’s operational life.
Bronto Skylift
Bronto Skylift offers a wide selection of high-reach truck-mounted aerial devices from 36m to over 112m working height for wind turbine blade and tower inspection, maintenance and repair and other applications. With Bronto aerials operators are able to drive directly to the job site and, in a matter of minutes, be fully operational and able to access overhead areas faster and safer than other methods currently in use.
Bronto machines have been used in Europe for many years and have been time-tested in the toughest conditions. When elevated, S 90 HLA machines for instance, can withstand winds speeds up to 35mph (12m/s) and can lift up to 1000-pounds in a 8-foot x 3-foot, fully-enclosed platform to a 295-foot (90m) maximum working height. Maximum horizontal outreach is 108-foot (33m).
With advanced controls and one-button automatic leveling of the outriggers, Bronto aerials can be driven onto the site, then set-up and elevated to the overhead area in 20 minutes or less.
